Meet Kristi
A plus-sized, queer, neurospicy woman thriving with chronic pain and complex trauma by utilizing yoga therapy tools rooted in nature's cycles and shamanic rituals.
Having lived with chronic pain for most of my adult life, I turned to yoga for therapeutic relief nearly 15 years ago. I use it daily to alleviate not only my physical pain but also the mental, emotional, and spiritual discomfort that accompanies chronic conditions. Practicing ancient yogic tools and connecting with nature's cycles is essential for managing my fibromyalgia and chronic myofascial pain syndrome, allowing me to live my optimal life.
The impact of these practices was so profound that I became a certified yoga therapist through the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT), completing over 1,000 hours of training and apprenticeship. My goal is to empower others to work with, rather than against, their symptoms and limitations from chronic conditions, enabling them to live their optimal lives.
