Meet Kristi
Plus-sized, queer, neurospicy woman thriving with chronic pain and complex trauma by utilizing yoga therapy tools rooted in nature's cycles and shamanic/animist rituals.
Having lived with chronic pain most of my adult life I turned to yoga for therapeutic relief nearly 15 years ago and use it daily to minimize not only my physical pain, but the mental, emotional, and spiritual discomfort that accompanies chronic conditions. Practicing the ancient tools of yogic philosophy and connecting with nature and her cycles is essential for living my optimal life with fibromyalgia and chronic myofascial pain syndrome.
The impact of adopting these practices was so profound that I became a yoga therapist certified through the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) after completing over 1,000 hours of training and apprenticeship so that I could empower others to work with, rather than against, any symptoms or limitations from chronic conditions to live their own optimal life.
